Which of your data do we process? And for what purposes?
In order to provide you with the services of the hotspot, it is necessary to use personal data from your end device. In this context, the MAC addresses of end devices may also be temporarily stored. We may also store log data ("log files") on the type and scope of use of the services.
If we have received data from you, we will only process it for the purposes for which we received or collected it. When using the WLAN of Friedrich Vollmer Feinmessgerätebau GmbH, we process the personal data listed below for the purposes stated.

(1) The connection data for Internet access shall be stored with details of

• b) addresses of sender and recipient and
• c) transmitted data volumes.

(2) The logs are used exclusively for the purposes of

• c) optimization of the network
• d) statistical determination of the total usage volume

What is the legal basis for this?

The legal basis for the processing of personal data is generally - unless there are specific legal provisions - Art. 6 GDPR. The following options in particular come into consideration here:

• In the case of consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) GDPR)
• Data processing for the performance of contracts (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) GDPR)
• Data processing on the basis of a balancing of interests (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR)
• Data processing for the fulfillment of a legal obligation (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c) GDPR)

If personal data is processed on the basis of your consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent from us at any time with effect for the future.
If we process data on the basis of a balancing of interests, you as the data subject have the right to object to the processing of personal data, taking into account the provisions of Art. 21 GDPR. In principle, we process the above-mentioned data for WLAN use on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The purposes are listed above.

How long will the data be stored?

We process the data for as long as this is necessary for the respective purpose. Longer storage and processing is only possible if the controller has a legitimate interest. This may be for the preservation of evidence, for example.

To which recipients is the data forwarded?

To which recipients is the data forwarded?
